This woodworker wants to know what to call a chest of drawers with a concave front. This is just the opposite of a bow front chest and not the same as a serpentine chest. What should he call it?

Rob Johnstone: Ask a friend to name it for you – as the builder it is yours to choose. Picking a school of design to identify furniture by is a fine thing to do, but to quote the Bard: “A rose by any other name….” I agree with Michael.
