Lucky Traditions?
So, my Vikings seem to have seen a setback on their road to the Super Bowl. News events notwithstanding, I attribute this to my not wearing my lucky jersey last Friday … or perhaps to complying with my coworkers’ requests that I actually wash that clothing item.
While I have (so far, anyway) managed to resist having a lucky pair of woodworking socks, in order to ensure my turnings turn out fine and my cuts are clean as a whistle, I wonder if the rest of you have any such shop traditions? (I hesitate to call them “superstitions.”) Does a rabbit’s foot dangle near your drill press? A horseshoe hang over your hardwood storage? Inquiring minds (or at least a nosy one) want to know!
