Have a Safe and Lovely 4th
Before our next eZine is sent out into the ether, those of us here in the USA will be celebrating the 4th of July…our Independence Day. I am old enough and have gained enough wisdom to know that there is good and bad in every person and in every nation, but even so, I am not ashamed to say that I am proud to be an American. I am thankful to have been born here, to have served in the Navy and to have raised a family in this very blessed place that remains a land of freedom and opportunity.
So I am wishing all my fellow USA folks a very happy 4th. And, while I know that this email goes out to folks all over the world, and to you the fourth day of July is just another day, I hope you will forgive me for a moment as I wish the land of my birth a very happy birthday.
