Creativity on Both Sides of the Brain
As I write this editorial, it is August 13. (Some of you may have noticed that you are also receiving this eZine on that same date … did I say I was great at planning ahead?) According to some of those “wacky holidays” websites, it is also Left Hander’s Day. Now, I am not a southpaw, although our illustrious publisher here at Woodworker’s Journal is. There is a legend that lefties have more creativity, but I like to think I’m as creative as the next guy. (I know I’ve certainly made my share of “creations” in the shop.) But today, I’m wondering about your creativity? What’s the most creative project you’ve ever built?
Rob Johnstone, Woodworker’s Journal
P.S. Some of our great creative minds got together recently to produce a new DVD. “The Way to Woodwork: Step-by-Step to a Perfect Finish” uses the “Finishing Flow Chart” to guide you seamlessly through the process, under the guidance of expert finisher Michael Dresdner. Check out the new finishing DVD here.
