Come on … you can do better than that!
A couple of weeks ago, I challenged readers to show me their goofiest project. I would then look the offerings over (along with my crack editorial staff, or is that a cracked editorial staff; I must look into this) and choose a winner. The winner would receive a new Ridgid TV3000 tool vac for their efforts. To encourage one and all, I also agreed to share one of my projects which did not quite make the grade. I have to say this is the first time you all have disappointed me. I did receive a few images of some off-the-wall pieces but just a few. I know in my heart of hearts that there are more of these design wonders out and about, but maybe you’re too shy to share them. Don’t be — we’re all friends here. And you’ll feel better when you get the secret out in the open. I hereby extend the contest by two weeks, so hurry up and send those images!
Tool Geek Alert! As promised, I have been to the mountain and brought back a story. The International Woodworking Fair concluded last Sunday and I have a few tidbits to share. Just click on Toolmaker Insider for my first-hand report. Seeing a trade show has never been so easy!
