It’s no vice to have two vises, but my woodworking shop didn’t have a good place to put a metal working vise-even though I could have put one to good use on occasion. I managed to solve the problem by bolting a metal working vise to an “L” shaped bracket made from 3/4 inch thick plywood.
Now, when my woodworking projects require some metal work. I simply clamp the short leg of the bracket into the vise and it’s ready to use. When not in use, it can be easily stored out of the way.
