Next Friday and Saturday, if you are in the Twin Cities area, be sure to stop by the Minnesota Woodworking Show at the State Fairgrounds. (That’s the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota … although they are fraternal twins, at best.) The show will feature a bunch of great demonstrations done by nationally known woodworkers and many bargains on woodworking tools and supplies. Best of all … yours truly will be part of the festivities.
The Woodworker’s Journal will have a booth at the show, and it could very well be worth your while to pay us a visit. We will be raffling off three table saws over the two days of the show and giving away other cool stuff, too. (My personal favorite is a measuring tape with a voice recorder built in … I will record a personal message to you, if you are one of the lucky winners!) In our booth we will also have table saw and band saw tune-up demonstrations; plus, you’ll have opportunity to participate in a tool review of cordless jigsaws. This is your chance to test and comment on this new category of power tools.
So, if you are around, stop by. I’d love to chat with you and hear what’s on your mind. And, who knows, you just might win something really cool. (Or maybe one of those measuring tapes …)
Sincerely,
— Rob Johnstone, editor: Woodworker’s Journal
