There is a good work and a great opportunity that I want you to be aware of. Starting on October 28th and running to November 7th, Black and Decker and eBay will be teaming up to raise money to fight cystic fibrosis. To celebrate their 85th anniversary, Black and Decker will auction off 85 of their limited 85th Anniversary Cordless Drills. The funds will be donated to the Boomer Esiason Foundation, whose mission is finding a cure to cystic fibrosis, a fatal genetic disorder that affects over 30,000 Americans. Boomer, a former NFL quarterback, has been working to help find a cure ever since his son, Gunnar, was diagnosed with the disease 11 years ago.
There are three different packages available in the charity auction, with a variety of woodworking and home improvement tools and supplies lined up and ready to be bid on.
So if you are looking to add quality tools and supplies to your shop (and which of us are not?) then click on one of the highlighted links for more information. The money goes to a wonderful cause, you get a (collectible) tool out of the deal and everyone is better off.
Now … who will start the bidding?
