Sliding Top Memory Box

Just another weekend project with a little joinery exercise – 45 miter corners with 1/4 inch box joints in the field. The top is a combination of oak and walnut glued with a reversible locking joint. Care must be taken when gluing box together to be sure it is square. Top is fitted for close tolerance. This was a very satisfying project.
