Shop Fox’s W1741S 8” Jointer features a spiral cutterhead with 40 German-made carbide inserts that are automatically indexed. With this convenience, tedious knife-setting tasks are a thing of the past; each insert has four sharp edges. When it dulls, simply loosen a screw and turn the insert 90° to a fresh edge, then retighten.

It produces 21,400 cuts per minute, with an 8” maximum width of cut, 1/8” maximum depth of cut and a rabbeting capacity of 5/8”.
