Spraying paint or finish is known as one of the easy and fast methods of applying a finish. With the Power Paint Sprayer (model SSP100), Ryobi has added some features that they claim will make it even easier.
For one thing, you don’t need to dilute whatever finishing product you’re using: a patented delivery system uses fine tubing to get it where it needs to go – whatever direction that might be, at whatever angle. Officially, the Power Paint Sprayer has three spray patterns: round, vertical or horizontal. That tube delivery system also means the Sprayer can pick up and use small amounts of finish left in the container – a Quick Lock container which locks into place to prevent spills.
A noise reduction pump makes the Power Paint Sprayer 50 percent quieter than comparable tools, Ryobi says, while the handle features ergonomic overmolds for a comfortable grip.
The SSP100 comes with two atomizer valves, lubricant, a cleaning brush, tips in both round and wide-fan patterns, a one-quart cup and a soft-sided carrying case. It sells for $79.97. For more information, visit www.ryobitools.com.
