Some of us have the newest and most tricked-out power tools available & and some of us just don’t. (I am still using a 1960s Skil router & with its unbelievably loud half-horse power motor, I call it my tower of power.) But even if you have the most up-to-date table saw, none of the state-of-the-art T-style fences, that I am aware of, have built in micro-adjust features. And, let’s face it, micro-adjust features can add just the control you need when doing fine woodworking. So, do you need to turn in your trusty T-fence for some other sort of system? Nope, not anymore. Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has developed a magnetic micro adjuster that is easy to use and can be moved from tool to tool as needed. And, when you don’t need it, you simply move it to the far end of the fence rail, and the magnet keeps it right there until you want it once more. Since it sells for under $30.00, it’s a whole lot cheaper than buying a newfangled aftermarket fence system!
Designed to work with any T-style table saw fence types, old or new, the Magnet Micro Adjuster is held in place by three strong rare earth magnets. While you might only really need a micro adjust feature a couple of times a day, when you need it, it should be readily available and close at hand, which is where this add-on really shines. It is installed and removed without the use of tools a very nice feature.
Available now, through all the various Rockler channels, for a street price of $29.99.
