I just finished two night stand tables made from knotty hickory and Peruvian walnut for a lady and had wood left over, so made another one but with knotty alder for the drawer. I also made a table from used oak that has knots/nail and worm holes. People here are really getting interested in this used oak!
I finished with two coats of Danish oil and two coats of furniture wax. The oak table doesn’t have the finish or drawer pull on yet. My “shop” is on my front porch, as this is the only place I have for now.
