I have trouble getting adjoining pieces to line up when using my biscuit joiner. Any suggestions?
Carol Reed: The strength of the biscuit joiner is alignment, so I am having a little trouble visualizing your problem. Draw a short line across the intersection of the two boards. Align the joiner on the pencil line. Make sure the fence is flat on the wood and that your tool doesn’t slide off the mark when cutting, and make sure you place the fence on the same face of both boards.
