The Leigh D4R Pro — formerly known as the D4R — still boasts an infinitely adjustable guide finger assembly, easily adjustable, where pins and tails of each dovetail joint can be arranged to give a hand-cut look and you are assured of a half pin at each edge of the joint regardless of board width. Plus, it can now be used to create five sizes of single-pass dovetails and two sizes of precisely fitted box joints. Both use the standard dovetail finger assembly. The single-pass half-blind dovetails are possible due to two features from the Super Jig line of dovetail jigs: a dual function plastic spacer to space the fingers on the finger bar and position the tail board with the correct offset and a stop rod inserted in the tail end of fingers to limit router travel. A similar dual function spacer is used for routing 5/16″ and 5/8″ box joints on the standard dovetail fingers, with the patented Leigh eBush template guide bush assisting with easy, fast fit adjustments. The Leigh D4R Pro sells for $579.
