Infinity Cutting Tools recently launched two sizes of 48-tooth Track Master blades that will fit all of today’s popular track saw models. They feature a high alternate top-bevel tooth geometry, for cutting chip-prone laminates and veneers cleanly. The teeth are C4 micrograin carbide, which Infinity says will last an average of 10 times longer than traditional saw blade teeth, and each tooth is thicker than some other blade options to allow for more resharpenings. C4 will also better resist the abrasive and dulling characteristics of the adhesives that hold composite sheet materials together.
Infinity’s 160mm-diameter Track Master blade (model 007-001) will fit Festool, Grizzly and Shop Fox track saws, while the larger 165mm option (model 007-005) is designed for Triton, DeWALT or Makita saws. Both versions have 20mm bores, laser-cut expansion slots to reduce vibration and a Nickel Armor coating for improved cutting smoothness and corrosion resistance. Both sizes of Track Master blades sell for $69.90.
