A few years ago, and having only one granddaughter, and witnessing her absolute love of a glider horse she tried in a store, (but rejecting all the rocking horses), I knew I had to find plans for a glider. The image is of the almost-complete horse is attached.
Then my daughter and son-in-law provided a second granddaughter! As she got old enough for her own horse, I was convinced my daughter wouldn’t like to have another glider taking up space. So I started thinking about another horse I could build. Because I had to build this one on a schedule and with a limited number of tools, I needed a simpler design.
I saw a photo of a swinging horse someplace, but had to come up with my own plans, and completed the swing horse in about 8 days of part time work spent at the carport. She absolutely loves it!!!
Now I’m in a quandary!!! The twins (yes, two more girls!) were born a little over a year ago…What the heck am I going to come up with for them???
