I’ve been a big fan of Woodworker’s Journal for a long time. Now that I’m retired, I have more time for my favorite hobby…woodworking. My daughter bought a house not too far from us with a front porch. It looked empty, so I thought a bench would be in order to add to the front of the house. I bought the plans for your Hoopback Garden Bench. I made the bench out of Red Cedar from my local lumber supply store in Mendham, NJ. It took me about 5 weeks of part time work to complete the project. I loved every minute of it. My other daughter and son now want a bench similar to the one I made.
