We’ve just celebrated the Fourth of July here in the U.S. of A., and so, my woodworking friends, you know what that means: the fall woodworking season is looking me square in the face. It’s got me feeling a little dazed. As you may know, I’m the editor of both the eZine and the Woodworker’s Journal print magazine. As such, I’m chiefly responsible for the selection of the various woodworking projects published in the Journal. (Others are keenly involved, but the main burden falls on my shoulders.) Hence my question to my friends online: What do you like to build?
Of course, I do believe our project selection is the best in the industry (ouch! patting myself on the back like that hurts!), but if any group can improve it, you are it. So give it to me straight: what do you really want to build … but need a bit of help getting started on? Don’t hold back; we’ll consider all ideas. (Of course, there’s a limit to how many projects we can print per year.) As they say at those summer weddings, speak — er, write — now, or forever hold your peace.
