Here’s a quick band saw fence you can make that requires no clamping for use. Just fasten a 4″-wide flat wooden scrap to a magnetic tool holder bar with a few screws.
My version of this handy fence has enough holding power to stay right where I place it on the saw table, and I can store it on the machine’s steel housing when I don’t need it.
