DeWALT has added a new 5.0 Ah 20V MAX* lithium-ion battery pack to its EXTREME RUNTIME (XR) products. The new battery pack (item DCB205) is fully compatible with all DeWALT 20V MAX tools and provides up to 25 percent more capacity than DeWALT’s 4.0 Ah 20V MAX battery packs, while remaining adding only one gram of weight for a total of 1.4 pounds. It includes a 3-LED fuel gauge system that provides immediate feedback on the state of charge. When compared t DeWALT’s 3.0 Ah lithium-ion battery, the DCB205 battery provides 60 percent more battery capacity during applications. Suggested retail price for the DCB205 battery pack is $139.99.
