DeWALT’s new 10” Jobsite Table Saw, the DWE7499GD, includes safety features such as Guard Detect™, which requires that the guard be installed in its proper position for the saw to be turned; to operate the saw without the guard installed, the user has to activate an override switch. An LED light flashes as a warning when the guard is not in its proper position. The DWE74490GD also includes a no-volt switch which keeps the saw shut off in the event of a power loss, until the user activates the switch. The DWE7449GD has a 32-1/2 inch rip capacity, a 3-1/8 inch depth of cut at 90 degrees and a 2-1/4 inch depth of cut at 45 degrees, and is powered by a 15-amp motor. It weighs 90 pounds with its rolling stand and includes a 2-1/4 inch dust collection port. The DWE7449GD is currently selling for around $800.
