The veneered lid on this reader-submitted project takes a classic design to the next level.
A few pictures of a cedar chest I make for my wife. I used oak for the body, olive wood veneer on the top, and unfinished cedar for a liner. Overall it turned out well, I had been promising this to my wife for the last four years and finally got around to putting it together. I have also included a picture of a clock case I made for a chronometer I purchased a few years ago at an antique show.
