Walnut Pie Safe
Here is a Walnut Pie Safe I built. It is solid 3/4″ walnut frame, panel door inserts are spalted maple.

Cedar Bench
Project I assisted my 13 year old grandson with for his mother. He was able to use bandsaw, drill press, router on table, planer, and numerous hand tools by the time we finished.

Child’s Table and Chairs
I made this table and chairs for my granddaughter. I painted the pine top in a whimsical abstract way. I used bright colors and spray painted three layers.

Turned Flowers
I turned the flowers out of different exotic and domestic hardwoods. Then turned the interior Bulbs from other different hardwoods.

Curly Cherry Dining Table
From 8/4 Cherry with breadboard ends. Built for my deserving wife who puts up with my long hours in the shop and rarely gets her gift by Christmas.

Red Oak Bookshelf
Here is a bookshelf I built out of red oak, stained with a General Finishes oil stain in “warm cherry” and finished with three coats of gel top coat.

Turning Art
This is my turning, entitled: “Escargots go acourtin.'” Walnut 10 inches in diameter. A difficult project of reversing volutes.

As I progress, I do seem to enjoy the experience more and get more satisfying results. Three drawer chest with G&G and Asian influences.

Five Drawer Chest
Five drawer chest with full extension glides made from a Pecan tree I cut down in my yard.

Mission-Style Bench
I built this mission-style bench from reclaimed white oak lumber that came from a barn. My son and I are taking down this barn that was constructed entirely with white oak.

Pedestal Cake Dish
A neighbor asked me if I could make a pedestal cake dish for her. Since I don’t have a lathe I suggested that it be an octagon and she said that would be okay.

Rocker Trio
Three Maloof inspired mesquite rocking chairs: Gentleman’s, Lady’s and Child’s built on request by my old boss after he had seen an oak rocker I had made for my wife some years ago.

Rebuilt Cart
Here is a cart I rebuilt for a friend of mine. It was used to transport small gas motors around to run different appliances with a belt drive like a washing machine or water well.

String Holder
Attached is a picture of some string holders that I designed and made. They’re designed to hold spools of yarn/string and crochet hooks.
