Night Stand Set
These are two night stands I built for my sister’s guest bedroom. I used the plans from the February 2002 issue of Woodworker’s Journal and modified them to meet my desire for cleaner lines.

Grandchild’s Cradle
I just completed a cradle for our first grandchild based on a design that my son had seen and liked. It is made of walnut, maple and ash.
-
Piano Bench
This is an older styling Piano Bench made from hard maple with spade legs. The legs have Myrtle inlay.
-
Toy Spaceship
I built this toy spaceship for my grandson Aiden. It has a wooden frame covered with masonite.
-
Standing Writing Desk
Made from knotty alder and walnut from Peru. I’ve finally “retired” and can get back to my hobby and love of woodworking!
-
Turntable Case
A friend of mine picked up a vintage 1960s Empire 208 turntable. I restored it for him and set it up with a new cartridge.
-
Cutoff Box
I have a large bin full of cutoff pieces that I just cannot stand to throw away, so I decided to build some smaller projects.
-
Ottoman/Coffee Table
Here’s my latest contribution to my wife’s wish list, a coffee table to match the contour of our curved seating sofa in our TV viewing area.
-
Poker Chip Tables
These are two side tables I was asked to make for a group of guys who play poker. The brief was that they had to look like a poker chip.
-
Intarsia Wall Hangings
I do mainly Intarsia with absolutely no paint or stain or other artificial coloring used – ONLY natural wood colors with a clear finish.

Wine Cabinet and Dresser
The walnut wine cabinet was inspired by the metal doors, with the arch above. It was a wall hanging.
-
Washroom Wall Cabinets
The carcasses are 1/2″ MDF laminated with 1/4″ birch plywood and the doors are 1/2″ MDF laminated with 1/8″ X 3″ red oak stripes and I used 3/4″ x 3/4″ solid oak on all the door edges.

Coffee/Chess Table
The wood is Walnut, Curly Maple and Red Oak and Walnut burl veneer for the insets on the chess table and on the end table tops.
-
Cherry Chest
This is a cherry chest I made for my granddaughter. The inlays are maple and walnut.

Red Oak Dresser
I recently built this red oak dresser for my wife. Because of it’s size and weight I had to build it in two pieces.
