I want to add edge veneering to curved cabinet doors and I am wondering how to make the grain pattern look correct on the top and bottom curved portions of the doors. Any suggestions will be appreciated. – Earl Jones
Tim Inman: Typically, the edges of doors are not veneered. However, if you want to apply veneer, it can be done. There aren’t many choices for pattern treatment. Cutting a matching arch from a flat sheet of veneer is about the only option. The edge should be applied first, followed by the face veneers, to minimize the little edge of veneer which will show.
