Congratulations to Rockler Woodworking and Hardware. The national woodworking tool and supply retailer was presented with the Hardwood Forestry Fund’s Gifford Pinchot Award for planting 32,000 hardwood trees since 2008.
Black Cherry, American Walnut, White and Red Oak, Tulip Poplar, Chestnut Oak and hard Maple were among the species planted. The trees were planted in regions that best suit each specific species. Some of the planting locations include, Wisconsin School Forest, WI, Raystown Lake, PA, and The Wilds at the Columbus Zoo, OH.
