I am doing a project indoors and would like to know the process of painting pressure-treated wood.
Michael Dresdner: Once pressure-treated wood is dry to typical indoor moisture content (8%), it can be finished just like any other wood. The poisons in it do not inhibit finishes. However, those same poisons make pressure-treated wood a poor choice for indoor use, and demand that woodworkers, even when working outdoors, wear a good respirator, along with other standard safety gear, when handling or cutting it.
