Kirei Board is a composite panel board manufactured from post-harvest sorghum plant stalks, poplar wood bonding layers, and no-added-formaldehyde adhesive as a substitute for wood in furniture, cabinetry, flooring and other applications. It accepts all fasteners and most finishes, and can be drilled with a high-speed drill or routed at speed of 20,000 rpm with double-fluted bits. Kirei Board is sold by the sheet in a variety of sizes, with prices ranging from $7 to $14 per square foot.
