These tissue boxes are a mix or Eucalyptus, oak, and some birch. I was able to resaw some of it down to 1/4″ or less so the dark boxes are much smaller. This particular kerri or eucalyptus was brought over from Australia to use in wood floors for rail cars many years ago.
