Here is a recent project of a Coffee/Chess Table with matching end tables. The wood is Walnut, Curly Maple and Red Oak and Walnut burl veneer for the insets on the chess table and on the end table tops. I have 8 coats of gloss poly sanded to an 8000 grit with 6 coats of wax.
